Yin Yang

The martial art specialist of the Expendables. ShaolinHonorable. Rejects killing in “gruesome” ways. Sure Yin Yang is smaller, and maybe that means he has to work harder than the rest of the Expendables… but 李连杰 makes it look so easy.

  6. you now what...i hate to say this but i think yin yang (Jet Li) is gonna die look at the second trailer it only shows Mr.Li in one clip and the showed the rest of the crew more than once. and another thing they don't even show Mr.Li on the movie poster and one more thing take when you look at the trailer keep in mind of a scene when they are sliding down the rope and on guy fell of looking like he got injured that gave me a clue of who gonna die. i might be wrong but i believe theirs a big chance it will happen honestly if it happens Mr.Li should be in the whole movie cause in my opinion he the best actor and Martial Artist in this movie and he needs some respect but i hope i'm wrong and i hope he's in the whole movie

  7. After Tool (Mickey Rourke) is brutally murdered on a mission, his comrades swear to avenge him. They're not the only ones who want blood. Tool's beautiful young and wild daughter Fiona embarks on her own revenge mission, complicating matters when she is captured and ransomed by a ruthless dictator plotting to destroy a resistance movement. Now Barney (Sylvester Stallone) and the Expendables must risk everything to save her and humanity.

  8. I think Yin Yang could be shafted in EX2 ... they got Maggie instead. Oh well...I thought there would be an awesome fight between Li and Van Damme...or maybe Lundgren's character would be killed by Van Damme's...tough luck Lundgren always gets killed by the Muscles from Brussels XD

  10. He is going to die, look at the scenes in the trailer; you don't see him walking with the group. Yes, Yin Yang is great but I hate to say it he is going to die. Another thing they fucked up with this movie.

  11. Li won't die. It won't go well especially with the Asian fans. It's Jet Li! I believe Sly and the producers are smart NOT to get rid of Li. He needs to be in EX3.

I predict Hemsworth to go. He seems out of place with all the big stars around him. He will be killed. I have a strong prediction on this one.

  12. li and stallon are the best in all cast , and it looks like li is gonna die in movie ,then this is the blunder stallone is doing in movie, and giving importance to kids ...i don't get it

  13. Jet li is 100x better in martial arts than everyone else in the movie combined? Chuck Norris, and JCVD are great legends, but even in their prime they can't go 1on1 against Jet Li. The first movie was a total waste of his acting talent, and fighting skills. Please give him a bigger role the man deserves it. Why treat him like a dumb small asian guy that can barely speak english or beat Dolph in a 1v1.

Please give us Donnie Yen vs Jet Li or Li vs JCVD. I really don't want to see Stallone fight JCVD, if so JCVD wins easily. I want to see Norris vs Atkins.

  14. I mean for god sake Crews who's not even a action star he's comedy, but he gets a big scene for his shotgun. Even most of the movie focuses on Statham's love life. Why? We even got a long scene of Statham beating up 6 random guys at a basketball court. Why? Give us an epic Li scene for gods sake!! The man is that damn good he deserves more respect.

  15. If Li does in the movie I will leave the movie theater and demand my money back! Li deserves respect. I think the movie will be a waist of money if Li dies. I'm already thinking of just not watching in theater because I'm worried that he will die in the movie.

  16. jet li dies because he doesn't want to appear in more sequels, and thus the new female cast replaces him.

jet li doesn't want to present himself as a badass anymore, he's moved on to religion and philanthropy as he ages to better suit his image.

  17. IF he dies, I hope it's gonna be in (or after) a scene that effin' makes up for how underused he was in the first film.

  18. Li didn't die...but for what is worse...he was only in the first scene of the movie! this is the kind of respect n gratitude Sly shows for him...ungrateful SOB! I hated it!!!!!!!

  21. What a pity. Jet Li got less than 15 minutes screen time.

  22. Jet without a doubt had the best fight scene in the whole film. I can't believe he was only in the first 10 minutes and then was written out. What a waste. The way he beat the guys down with the frying pans was awesome and left me clamoring for more. No other fight scene matched it.

    2. Once they saved the Chinese guy in the beginning Yin Yang accompanied him to China as an escort. They asked him if he was coming back and he replies "maybe, maybe never"...and that's that. So the door is still open for EXP3 if Jet does decide to come back.

  23. Plot

The Expendables are deployed to Nepal in order to rescue a Chinese businessman. The team consists of leader Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), former SAS soldier and blades specialist Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), martial artist Yin Yang (Jet Li), weapons specialist Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), demolitions expert Toll Road (Randy Couture), and snipers Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren) and Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth), the group's youngest and newest member. The mercenaries rescue the businessman, as well as Trench (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Ross's rival. Yang accompanies the businessman in his return to China, and temporarily departs from the group.
Afterwards, Ross is forced to accept a mission from Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) to retrieve an item from a safe from an airplane that was shot down in Albania. The team, accompanied by tech genius Maggie (Yu Nan), retrieve the item from the airplane. However, their victory is short-lived. Billy is captured by Jean Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme), who demands the item in return for Billy's life. The Expendables surrender the item, however Vilain roundhouse kicks the knife into Billy's heart anyway and leaves. Billy survives just long enought to ask Barney to look in his pocket. Barney finds and reads aloud the letter meant for Billy's girlfriend. The group buries Billy and swears revenge on Vilain. Maggie reveals the item on the plane was a computer containing a blueprint to an abandoned Soviet Union mine which stores five tons of plutonium. Vilain, along with his right-hand man Hector (Scott Adkins), intends to retrieve the plutonium and sell it..
The team decides to travel to the mines, stopping at an abandoned military base where they spend the night. The next morning, the team are ambushed by Vilain's army, the Sangs. Fortunately, the Sangs are quickly eliminated by Booker (Chuck Norris) single-handed, who departs the group shortly afterwards. Before departing, Booker informs the group about a nearby village with residents who are against Vilain. As they enter the village, the group discovers a number of armed female villagers who are guarding their children. The women tell the mercenaries that the men of the village have been taken to work at the mine and never return to their families. Eventually, the Sangs arrive to take more villagers, but the team successfully kills all of them, saving the village. The group stages a surprise attack on Vilain at the mine, crashing their plane into the caves. Vilain detonates a set of explosions that buries the team and the miners underground. After Jensen attempts an unsuccessful escape, Trench and Church arrive to rescue the mercenaries and the miners trapped in the mine. The miners are reunited with their families while the Expendables pursue Vilain.
The Expendables, Trench, and Church intercept Vilain at the airport, where Vilain and his men attempt to depart with the plutonium. The team, rejoined by Booker, fight their way through the airport and slaughter all of the Sangs. Christmas encounters and engages Hector, decapitating the henchman with a helicopter blade. Ross and Maggie follow Vilain to the hangar, where Ross and Vilain fight to the death, ending with Ross stabbing Vilain in the chest and avenging Billy's death.
Church, Maggie, Booker, and Trench say their goodbyes to Ross, with Church giving an ancient Soviet biplane to Ross (as a replacement of the team's destroyed airplane). The group leaves a large sum of money to Sophia (Nikolette Noel), Billy's French girlfriend, as well as a picture of Billy and Billy's final letter to Sophia. As the team departs in the plane, the Expendables give a final toast in honor of Billy.

  26. You are all idiots

Li only got 15 minutes because that's all he wanted, it has nothign to do with disrespect from anyone else involved. He is seriously not wanting to do action movies like this any more and this was the only way he would agree to do the movie at all. They left it open ended in case he change his mind but expect him not to return.

  27. The better fight would have been Jet Li and Van Damme. WTF happen to Jets character in the movie. Barney is a great charcter but just let him direct movies sorry Rocky fans. We know its a Stallone flick. Give da bigger role to someone else. How about Jet Li vs Steven from abve da law.

  29. Thanks to all u schmucks that gave the entire movie away. All I wanted to know was if Li dies and Norris takes his place. You know tool is gone from trailers and last movie. Stallone brought back as many as he could plus legends of action movies. So thank u to the hump that typed the whole synopsis.
