We already knew that parts of EX4 was going to film in Greece. We have confirmation from the head of central Macedonia tourism that filming in Greece will commence in November with Statham, Lundgren, Fox, Garcia, Jaa, 50 Cents. No mention of Sly or Couture! We knew that Sly was having a small role and would most likely shoot his scenes in London and eventually Bulgaria, keep filming Night Hawks there. It’s safe to assume that whatever action scenes that take place in Greece with the new team, Sly won’t be part of it. Lundgren will be there, so it looks like he has a more integral part in the movie and might remain with Statham in the new team. The omission of Couture is interesting. It could be an oversight or maybe his character finally gets killed. EX4 is for sure taking a totally different turn; and going back to Avi’s comments when he had his fallout with Sly, he seems to be rebooting the franchise as he said he would.
