It seems as if THE EXPENDABLES 4 really is Sylvester Stallone's swan song as Barney Ross in the EX franchise. On the StalloneZone fan forum he referred to both RAMBO and THE EXPENDABLES when asked (by me actually) if there was a chance of a sixth Rambo film:
"I HAVE ZERO OWNERSHIP PARTICIPATION IN BOTH RAMBO AND EXPENDABLES WHICH IS FINE... LET THEM CARRY ON WE HAVE NEW THINGS TO EXPLORE , FOLKS"
"sorry time to say good bye since ex1 I have had 9 operations and though i will never be painfree i am proud to have helped gotten the action genre going and time to pass the deal..."
So there you have it by the man himself. IF there'll be an EX5 it will be without our favourite mercenary Barney Ross! So let's enjoy his last rodeo in the upcoming EX4. And what a ride it was since 2010!
