In an old interview he said that he would only make Expendables 4 if the script was good and if Stallone was in it. The script was apparently well-crafted and Stallone is in, so why wouldn't Schwarzenegger be a part? In posts from a few months ago Stallone met with Schwarzenegger a few times, so could that mean they at least talked about 4?
A part was written for him in the original script. Not sure if he opted out bc his role wasn’t well written or simply bc of his calf injury that didn’t allow him to travel to Europe (he missed his own sport event which was schedule the weekend before production started on EX4!)
